Travels on Tuesday

I'm all packed for my trip to visit my daughter today.
~

That's me, the blonde on the left with the hat box.



I've packed the cashmere cowl I'm knitting, both for entertainment and just in case the passenger next to me  is a moron wants to discuss politics.


I've also packed my umbrella because my daughter tells me it's monsoon season in Vancouver.




Yoga clothes for...the obvious. 



I've also packed a mini lint roller because her sweet little pug sheds ALL THE TIME!
It's a very good thing she's adorable.  Even her dogs toy-Pug is cute, but it doesn't shed. 



With only 3 hours of sleep last night I feel sort of worn out, but once I board the flight and have several a lovely glass of wine, I'll feel much, much better.
The knitting may suffer mistakes with the wine consumption, but I won't. I seldom find enjoying a glass of wine a mistake. It will be past 12 noon after all.

    I hope you are better prepared than I was last weekend!

    That's a pretty intricate looking pattern that you are knitting.
    I'd never be able to keep track if I had wine.

  9. Wish I could look like the first picture when I travel. Ryanair unfortunately does not accommodate hat boxes. Good trip

  12. OOOOh La Lah!!! You set a perfect example for a would be traveller like me if I could travel. A powder blue cashmere knitting project is way out of my league though but sipping wine and staring out the window in a happy contented gaze would fit me to a tee. Look forward to all the photos of your new adventure.
